HALO S2: RISE FROM THE FALL
MOTION SPOT

In preparation for Season 2 of Paramount+’s flagship series, Halo, I developed a complete 3D motion spot featuring models of the main cast’s helmets provided by the studio (untextured). Initially, I pitched this concept as a social media engagement piece for the season finale. However, due to the launch size of Season 2, the spot was also utilized on DOOH screens in New York City and Los Angeles.
Using Cinema 4D and Octane, I created several scenes by texturing, lighting, and animating the models to establish a dramatic storytelling atmosphere. To enhance this and connect it to the marketing campaign, I incorporated a fire simulation into the title card scenes, calling to the iconic "glassing" effect prominent in the new season. Once rendered, I built a 20-second spot in After Effects, where I edited, re-timed, animated, and composited the 3D renders, while overlaying audio from the Official Trailer. Below is the final spot.
